Same Size, Same Claimed Inseam — Noticeably Different Fit and Length I ordered both the Core Hybrid Shorts 6.5” and Everyday Essential Shorts 6.5” in black, size Medium, expecting the sizing and overall length to be fairly comparable. Unfortunately, there is a noticeable difference between the two. The Everyday Essential Shorts fit as expected and appear to have an accurate 6.5” inseam. They have a more relaxed, natural fit through the seat and thighs and the length looks proportionate. The Core Hybrid Shorts are noticeably smaller-fitting overall. They fit more snugly through the hips, seat, and upper thighs, and the inseam comes up approximately half an inch shorter than advertised. On me, they wear much more like a roughly 6” short than the same 6.5” length as the Everyday Essential. I also laid the two pairs directly on top of each other, and the difference isn’t just how they sit on the body—the Core Hybrid is physically shorter, despite both being labeled 6.5”. The photos with the shorts overlaid make the discrepancy particularly clear. The Core Hybrid also has a more structured/athletic cut, while the Everyday Essential has a little more room and drapes better through the leg. There’s nothing inherently wrong with a slimmer or shorter cut, but I think the product description or sizing should reflect that difference. I like the materials and overall construction of both, but the sizing consistency needs improvement. Someone ordering the same size and advertised inseam across two models shouldn’t have to guess whether one will fit substantially shorter and tighter than the other. Bottom line: the Everyday Essential fits true to expectations; the Core Hybrid runs both shorter and slimmer in the same labeled size.
